Our story
Our story
Karl Lyons learned forging at Lenape Forge, where he first saw seamless reinforced nozzles. In 1976 he co-founded FVC and ran it for 11 years.
In 1997 he started Forged Components in Humble, Texas, to build the best long weld neck in the business. FCI added presses, a ring roll, heat treat and machining, then grew through acquisitions: Humble Forge, Ram Forge, Atex (FCI Subsea), Forge USA's forge and heat-treat assets, and Western of Texas Forge & Flange.
Karl died in December 2020. In 2023 FCI joined Westbrook Energy Group, now OneWest Manufacturing Partners.
